gjones Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 (edited) Lovely looking and sounding Japanese CSL bass. The soundclips show how great this bass sounds. I'd buy it if I didn't have a great sounding Jazz already. You can certainly see why these basses made Fender nervous in the 70s. Musky Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Looks lovely, but he's out on the date - it's from about 1980. Quote
BetaFunk Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Going cheap? How do you know if it's cheap or not until the auction ends? Quote

It's actually the same as the Cimar basses which came out of Fujigen just like the the Ibanez's, but had a few changes of headstock. The one in the link was only used for a short while before they went over to the curvy one like they had on the blazer basses. Quote

Lozz196 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Made of Judaswood - never heard of that before. Wonder if Judas Priest had their guitars made from it? Quote
Lozz196 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Wonder if it`s possible to bid 30 pieces of silver......................... Quote
Paul S Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 The second sound clip is called 'O Jesus King' - something spooky going on here! Turin-burst finish? Quote
