LemonCello
These are rumoured to be in the 'expensive' bracket and will therefore have to compete against the other more well known brands. Fine looking thing though.
Dingus
I like these . I would might buy one under the right circumstances , depending on the price , which I seem to remember is less than you might think ( under three grand ) . The Dark Lord
The 24 frets and the pre amp would put me off - but it's nice to see a company launch a bass which is not a rip off of someone else's products. More manufacturers should do this. If the quality is as good as the McCarty guitar I had a while back, then you won't go wrong. Go black though - can't see the attraction of basses in "mid-80s Liverpool shell suit" colouring.
stingrayPete1977
I can understand why some folk wouldn't want an active bass but what's wrong with 24 frets?
Dingus
If the guy conducting that interveiw is Brian Fox then I am shocked . He looks like he has aged twenty years overnight .

[/quote] 24 is too many IMHO. It's a bass guitar, which you ideally want to use to make deep sounding notes. I can see one of these widdly jazz players (good for them) or one of these slappers and poppers might use frets 22 thru 24 ..... but not me. Just let me know when you'll be rehoming it All digs and pokes aside, this is a rather stunning bass (with a matching price tag!) are you really considering it? Dingus
I think these new production models are supposed to be retailing from about the £2650 region , or something around that . Not that bad , really .
AndyTravis
I would like to try one, the videos so far have mainly been slapping. The blue one looks lovely in that video though.
molan
I saw Gary Grainger playing his private stock one at Musikmesse and it sounded really nice. He was playing in a bass trio with sax and drums and his playing was excellent. PS - I can imagine Dave liking the neck 'woofer' pickup on the bass in the pic. Would suit some of the tonal options he's after quite well I think.
