M@23
Hey guys, I'm trying to get this out there as much as possible - as we all are with our music! My band, Hundred Lies, released our first video today. Would love to know what you think, we're really pleased with it. The bass parts were recorded with a Feneder Jazz through an old Bassman 100 and matching 2x15. The track was mastered by Pete Maher and the video was put together by our very own keys player. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NlHBokxOYI Hope you enjoy, thanks for taking the time to watch, Matt
Jimmyp28
Very nice I enjoyed that, you should be proud of that one.
yepmop
Quite enjoyable, you should be quite please with yourselves, My only minor gripe and it's probably just me but I'm not too sure about the high pitched parts of the vocals, very darkness sounding. Still very good though.
Skol303
^ Ditto the comment above above the falsetto-style vocal licks - but that's a love it or hate it kinda thing It certainly doesn't spoil what is otherwise a good song and a cool video. The only thing I can really offer in terms of constructive criticism is the mix itself. I feel it lacks dynamics and 'punch' - there's little change in energy between the verse and chorus, and I really wanted the chorus to hit with more 'wallop'! But like I said... It's a good song!
