Twigman Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 Will a Mono M80 fit inside SKB Bass Safe? I have bought a M80. It is dead light compared to my ABS full flight case. How did I carry that around for so long? I will still need to fly a bass regularly but would prefer to just use the M80 once I get to my destination. Mark @ Bass direct reckons I could fly with the M80 no problem but I think it needs a bit more protection so was wondering if a Mono M80 would fit inside an SKB Bass Safe case. Anyone know for sure? Twigman Posted May 9, 2013 Author Share Posted May 9, 2013 I took a gamble and bought the SKB anyway and I can report that the M80 Mono does fit in the SKB Roto case.....but only just!! It took quite some effort to get the latches to hook up - I was determined not to be defeated....I suspect the new foam in the end and on the heel didn't help too much. I would not be able to use the exterior pocket of the M80 though, that must be empty to get the thing in. Hope this might help someone as mad as me.
