Final bump. I guess its a bit special interest, as well as a fair chunk of cash. Its not exactly a chore to hang on to it, although I could do with the moolah :)

If the band weren't set on my non-DB being something that vaguely resembled an acoustic instrument, I would rather sell my A/E fretless a hundred times over before this, Chris

Seriously thinking about selling my Veillette so I can buy this back

Well Gareth it has not even left my house in the six months I have owned this lovely bass so its exactly as you remember it (bar a change of strings)!

Just to reiterate (after a few PMs), no trades thanks, I have an expensive few months coming up and could really do with the cash. So its sale only ... with one exception - I would do a part-trade for an Aguilar TH500 (and that specific model only) plus cash

In answer to another PM, I have Hiscox case and cardboard box so posting is no problem (UK or overseas, the latter is typically about £60 to mainland Europe)

I don't need two fretless basses and - given I could do with some cash (three significant family birthdays coming up) and my AE fretless hasn't found any takers - I would still potentially sell this beauty

Ha ha, I thought that was an oblique reference to Jack playing it in the pic above and a certain mid-90's English band. Then the photo of the bass popped up

Come on people, this is an amazing bass. Looks fabulous, has amazing woody tones, mwah for days, heck it even smells good!

Thanks Gareth! So ... anyone interested here? :)

Would entertain offers close to the asking price B)

So you're in Hammersmith asking £2000 Clarky, how about I offer you £50 from Barnes, it's close
