Peavey T40 in Aberdeen

Someone in Aberdeen is selling a T40 for what seems like a reasonable price. I am not affiliated in any way with the seller (although could go run the rule over it if needs be) and have no idea if the seller will ship it (again I could assist with this), but if you don't ask you don't get...

At the money £300 it is a steal. USA bass, real wood. What have you to lose? If I was nearer Aberdeen and bass purchase brings potential divorce I would snap this up. They are not making them anymore....

There's a T40 for sale in Glasgow Gumtree in Glasgow for £250 - 10 mins walk from me but I'm resisting!

I remember trying one of these in Denmark Street when they were first made - really solid, well made bass, great tones and lovely to play, very well finished, but weighed a absolute ton, IIRC!
