jimmybass04 Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 hi there, im looking for any info on how to amplify my martin accoustic bass, iv currently got one of those k max pickups (the three piezo thing that is glued on under the saddle) theyre on bob gollihurs bass site. i cant seem to get a decent sound when i plug into an amp, it seems to amplify every part of the bass body ( fingerboard scratches, string noise etc. iv plugged into my amp via a dave hall bass d.i./e.q. but it still sounds bad. i looked at buying a fishman platinum, but its a costly one if it doesnt work. the bass sounds great unplugged. any info would be great. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
