fluffo Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 (edited) Price is £525 but for some reason I can not edit it, anyway I am thinking of selling my levinson blade b4 jazz bass. It has a honeyburst finish with an ebony board and gold hardware. I have owned this for about 9 years and it has spent most of this time in a case. Ash body so it's not the lightest of basses but sounds excellent with all original electrics and in a 9 out 10 excellent condition and appears to date from 91, this is one of the Japanese handmade ones. Any interest please get in touch. I will post post uk £25 fully insured. ebenezer Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Don't do it!!.....it won't take up that much space.....keep it another 9 years.
RhysP Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 These are superb basses - I used one as my main bass for 20 years. Build quality is as good as anything out there.
fluffo Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) Your probably right but I need a holiday so I think it's time to move it on, I can't find another one for sale anywhere. Edited May 10, 2013 by fluffo
bigthumb Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013
bump
This aint sold yet? I wish I was close to try this out. Always fancied one but never seen one in the flesh, let alone played one.
fluffo Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 You would not be disappointed sounds alsome with fantastic electrics and all original.
oldslapper Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013
I wish I was close to try this out. Always fancied one but never seen one in the flesh, let alone played one.
Serious "grown ups" bass. One of the nicest necks I've played, plus the ebony board just makes your fingers skip. The eq options with the internal preamp adjustment is fab too. They are very rare beasties, or owners just don't sell them too often. I have nooooo money or it'd be mine.
Stacker Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Dont let it go for that, mate, please. But if u do, someone's getting the bargain of the year!
marcus bell Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Saw yolanda Charles playing one of these a few years back! Top bass! Top sound!
petetexas Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Don't let it go, its crazy, as someone above said, put it back in its case for another 9 years. When I got mine, I sold all of my other basses, as nothing compared. Pete
jjay69 Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I think you need to give us the Kilo and grams of this baby so we know exactly what were dealing with here. Can we stay upright for a serious rehearsal session of ooh say 4 plus hours !
fluffo Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 Comes in at about 10 1/2 lb not that bad for a solid ash body and ebony board
jjay69 Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Hmm a quick convert makes that about 4.76 kgs, not so bad
