Ruokangas Steambass anyone?

Anyone tried one of these? I have heard of their guitars and watched videos of their build process on youtube, but I didn't realise they did a bass, very nice it is too! I spent quite a while entertained by their interactive bass builder, and on reading the specs its interesting to see that they use thermo treated woods, I know this may be opening a can of worms, but hey, this is the place to pontificate is it not? Can anyone vouch for the effectiveness of this process? I have read a little about roasted Musicman necks on their forum, but it's arguable as to whether they are subjective and unbiased!
