Matthauke
I'm trying to sell my Warwick bass and need to have it fixed before I do so. The bass has 3 knobs, one of them pops in and out to control the volume. The problem is that it only works when popped out. I have no idea what the difference between the popped in and popped out states are since it's been so long since it work properly. If anyone recognises the problem do let me know (I know I haven't gone into much detail but I don't really know my way around a bass much anymore) or if someone could recommend a bass repair place in London that'd be great. Thanks a lot Matt
Grangur
Are there any wires disconnected in the back? Or are there any bits of metal shorting the connections of the pot together? If not then I would guess you need someone with an ohm meter to check the pot out. Just one other thought.... where in London are you? It may help folk to suggest someone near you Edited May 10, 2013 by Grangur
bartelby
When it's out it's in passive mode. In is active mode. Dumb question, but have you changed the battery?

lobematt
I have the same problem in my Warwick Corvette, a loose wire in the back is the culprit. Maybe check that!
Matthauke
Thanks for the replies, I'm based in South East London but am willing to travel. I haven't played it in a while so it could be the battery haha but I'll have a look at wiring also!
