martthebass Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I'd love either/both of those. Pity we've both got more basses than cash!
MM Stingray 62 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 What a fantastic pair of basses, probably one of the nicest Stingray basses I've seen. I absolutely love the jazz bass, I played one of these in Bass Direct, it was fantastic. I'm in the process of selling a bass myself, if all goes well, I will definitely be back in touch about the jazz. Cheers, Mick
bouvier Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Wow Dave a really fab Jazz, had a couple of the Stack Knob reissues and found them to be a real delight to use. The MM well not much to say except "NUTS get yer toasted NUTS" not a fan of these but that neck is well erm toastie.... Someone will get a top notch bass here.
martthebass Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 If I can get some movement on my Rick, as Arnie says...'I'll be back' you're not too far off.
MM Stingray 62 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 As I posted earlier, may have sold my bass by the weekend, do you have any more pics of the jazz? I.e. certificate Cheers Mick
MM Stingray 62 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Great price for a great jazz if I could afford I would snap it up. Have BUMP on me.
Chiliwailer Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Seriously, £1400 for a CS Jazz and no one is biting, what's the world coming to?!!!! I already have a CS Jazz though and I couldn't be happier with it, Have a bump on me.
4000 Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Am I correct in assuming the Ray comes with the black guard, not the t/s one in the last picture? Or do my eyes deceive me?
4000 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013
No - as stated; it comes with both (and both are EB original)
Sorry, read it twice and must have missed it both times. Thanks for the reply.
4000 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 No problem! I was beginning to think I was losing the plot (well I probably am, but that's another story...).
Kev Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Still tempted by that 'ray. If the purchase of my intended new bass doesn't happen due to delays with selling my Zoid i could well come back to this...
MM Stingray 62 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Somebody buy that jazz so I can get to sleep. £1400 for a 1960 stack knob custom shop jazz I wish I had the cash.
