Stunning guitar but too stunning for me to justify keeping following the end of the project it was bought for. I paid £2k which may have been a little over the odds, but I played it and fell in love with the extraordinary versatile and responsive tones and, well you know how it is....... It's in 100% perfect condition, which is part of the reason I need to move it on, that is before Beedster Jnr finally does what she's been promising to do for a while and grabs it just a little too hard whilst I'm singing her to sleep.

Anyway, I'm looking for either cash (and am negotiable), PX with a decent 6-string acoustic guitar and cash my way, or trade for something that is sufficiently knocked about for me to not have to worry about damaging it too much......

I'd also consider a decent electric bass or EUB for either PEX or trade.

Pics are downloading at Photobucket as I write, albeit very very slowly, so I hope to post them later this evening

Cheers

Chris

Apparently it's a J-200 AN despite saying SJ-200 on the pink label on the soundhole - don't worry, nothing fishy, all serial numbers on document and instrument agree, seems to be quite a common thing with Gibbos. It has the soundhole mic & under-saddle PUP combination with controls (vol/pan) in the soundhole. Plugged into a desk it sounds absolutely amazing, with the source options only adding to this. It's also is incredibly lightweight. Original hard case, humidifier and paperwork all included of course. No international deals on this I'm afraid, it's too easily damaged and I don't want the hassle of trying to deal with an overseas courier if that did happen.

Stunning.
J-200's are superb guitars.

Cheers Rhys, although the pics above don't do it justice, the flaming on the sides and back of the body and on the neck is incredible. I hope to get those pics up later.

Any interest in one of my EB3's and some cash for the J200?
Would have been extremely keen to get the v63 back as a potential bit of Macca-esque work has come back my way, but not really sure the Gibbo would do it mate, sorry.

What you need is a ShoBud Pedal steel !
Ha ha, i watched our guitarist going slowly mad learning pedal steel, whilst at the same time enduring the taunts of his GF who said that her once axe wielding hero had turned overnight into a hunched old man sitting at what appeared to be a knitting machine. Beautiful sound, wish I had his patience!

Both gone to new homes............hope I dont miss them too much !

How about a square neck Dobro in p/ex?
Oh John I wish I could justify it! If we were talking your Robert Johnson I might be able to!

By the way, in response to a few PMs this is not a S-200 Studio, it's the real deal :)

Thought I'd mention that now I've decided to let my Mesa Buster combo go http://basschat.co.u...61#entry2087361 I'd also be interested in trades/PX for a decent bass combo, although it will need to be smaller than the Buster (Mesa Walkabout or similar would be perfect).
