Splinterman Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Hi there, I think first of all I'll have to apologize. English is not my first language. For the past couple of weeks I've been coming back to this little idea of mine, and I'll need third party advice on it. Basically I travel a lot and I need to come up with a solution for mixing and toying around with my music on the go. Also I was wondering if I could manage to pull off a makeshift bass "amp" by linking the above mentioned pieces of technology together. Thinking about buying maybe an iTrack Solo [ http://us.focusrite....ces/itrack-solo ] and linking it up with my iPad 2 with Cubasis on it [ ] Then I could come up with my own sound using the built in effects, and in the end I could just send it through a LineOut into a powered cabinet. Basically I could hit two birds with the same stone. Can I pull this off Forum? Have you had any experience with Cubasis? Are there better solutions? I need advice! Keep it coming! Quote
Monckyman Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Hello. You can pull this off, and if you have Audiobus then you can patch all sorts of processors into the signal path. The headphone out is ok, but better results if you use a USB audio interface. Good luck. Quote
