Beneath It All Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 (edited) Gutted to have to sell this absolute monster, sadly it weighs 10 lbs not the 9 lbs as stated in the original post [that's bathroom scales for you!!]......Used for 5 gigs only,so still in superb condition...trade for non-Fender types, 5 string frets/no frets..Ideally I'd like a lighter ACG... Here's a link to original post, hope Basslowdown doesn't mind... ......... rednose200 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Jesus, what a shame for you. This is a stunner. Sure to move. This is an expensive beast when new. All best.
badboy1984 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 (edited) hmmm a light ACG 5 string ........ ACG bass is a beast. I use a 5 string ACG 0078 J Type and is stunning. What you don't like about the bass except the weight? ACG is the only bass I ever play that i feel i don't need any modification. Edited May 15, 2013 by badboy1984
Beneath It All Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Nothing!..just feels too darn heavy [not surprising really - I've had basses dangling from my shoulders for 38 years!!]
rumour6 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Oh man.. pity, I have a Recurve 5 F/less (wieghs nowt..) and the sounds available are stunning. anyone buying an ACG (with all the correct info ) will not be disappointed. Being emmmm 55+ have to say weight matters more...(the bass's not mine..!!). Whoever gets this will be over the moon at what it can do... Best of luck.
giblett123 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Great price for a lovely bass, someone will get a bargain here!
