BassYerbouti Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Played through a Little Mark amp last night at a new rehearsal studio for us. Holy cow! that has got some punch to it. Nice tones, solid build, easy controls, fits in yer pocket. What's not to like? Quote
machinehead Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013
Really dig his Bro Richard as well
Hehehe. Yes, they are really great amps. I love the sound and volume and of course, the size and weight. Frank. Quote
jrturner77 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Just picked up a LM 800, GREAT amp. So much punch and power. Thought I could never cheat on my Ampeg but think a sale may be coming up. Quote

Lozz196 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Yep, LMII in my combo - fantastic amp, sits exactly in the right spot in the mix for me. Quote

ezbass Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Great amps, especially when paired with the right cab; what did you play through? If you like MB you'll probably like Phil Jones stuff too, a very similar tone but more 'precise'. Quote
Gunsfreddy2003 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Hate the colour love the sound!! Bought a TC RH750 recently but think the MB still beats it hands down. Great tone and so easy to usebut if they only put an MP3 player input!!! Quote
discreet Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Markbass just sound great right out of the box. I'd get a TTE but for the usual reason. Quote
I was a bit like that, I thought that they would look too modern & hi-tech for my punk bands, but now I`ve got them, and love the sound so much, well lets say I`m glad they are distinctive. gafbass02 Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I love my MoMark 800 watt. Went from a little mark 2 to a shuttle 9.0 and wasn't as keen. Neither the promethean or shuttle 3.0. Back to markbass again and couldn't be happier Quote
Muzz Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Liked my LMIII, moved on to valvier sounds, but they're still a great amp. Quote
chris_b Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I liked the sound of my LM2 and the LMK but I didn't like my F1 at all. I thought it sounded too clinical. I haven't heard any other Markbass amps but I wouldn't rule out having another at some time. Quote
PTB Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 I like my LMII based combo but for some reason, went through various amp heads before realising I wanted a LM II head. Am now happy & have pocketed the cash difference :-) Like ChrisB, I found the F1 I tried cold & clinical by comparison. On another thread, someone pointed out the difference is the digital power amp in the F series amps. Quote
Roscoe Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Recently picked up a little mark 250 blackline. Wonderful little amp, have it paired with a TC BC212 and it sounds amazing. Also solves two of the main issues with mark bass heads... price and look. The blackline is a much sleeker colour scheme being primarily black with the three "mark bass orange" knobs and writing. Also as it is built in Indonesia rather than Italy it makes the amps substantial more affordable, without compromising on anything, and in some cases at the moment these amps are better than there Italian counterparts as the factory is trying to prove itself.
