Ehhh can you speak up
Hearing still wonky
My ears have fallen into my mouth cause my smile is so wide
Those smartpower 2x12 cabs throw some grunt,I,m wondering what 2 of those 2x12,s would be like
I really like the fact that there is no tweeter
I,ve used a lot of different amps over the years but this one with cabinet takes some beating.
I tried it back to back with #arkbass and a valve #shdown head and the sp12 cab and the bass terror was the one.
Grammar is terrible-apologies

I sold all my Ampeg gear for a 500 and Barefaced S12. Best move I ever made.
Love mine. I am about to swap out the valves for some 12AT7W's to give me a little more headroom before breaking up.
looking forward to hearing yet more wonderful toneage!

I do like my tb1000, I can't fault it's performance. For me it has not had quite the right tone, but having said that, it's my first REAL amp. Lookimg to trade for an all ampeg rig, Iay regret it but that is the dream rig so have to walk the path.

I'm about to sell my AD200 8x10 rig to get the bass terror and smart power cab. Am I going to regret it?

Get a proper cab not a smart power one.

id go for the 410 if your dropping down from the 810 or even try changing one thing at a time, just trade the head for a tb1000 then you only have the cabs weight to worry about

Well I did it - got a match pair of Mullard 12AT7wa's. £34.50 off've eBay.
5 minutes to swap them over and a brand new amp!

Only one rehearsal but, The low end has really come to the fore and I've had to turn the bass down from 2 o'clock to 9 o'clock and the mids from 1 to 10.
It's much 'cleaner' and the tube break-up is more subtle with the gain (not sure I dig that yet!) and happens about 11 oclock as opposed to 7-9 o'clock.
Just feel like there's miles more headroom!
