grumble Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I gave up reading, there's only so much SHOUTING I CAN TAKE. Quote
Dave Vader Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I read it. But I WASN'T SURE if I was getting the right EMPHASIS on each sentence, nice to see Barry Scott has branched out a bit. Quote

stu_g Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I went on the website, that made no sense either and in one of the speaker pics the speaker is a b&w. Actually i should slap myself!why did i go on the website? Quote
keeptrying Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I wonder if it was his shouting or the massive 6mm of movement in his loud speakers that kept me awake the other night. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 One set of speakers was £120k on their website...cheap and cheerful I reckon.... Quote
itsmedunc Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Everybody knows you need 6mm in movement in any monitor. Quote
Mr. Foxen Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 (edited) Good that the voice coils in their speakers aren't made of long skinny copper, because then they wouldn't be able to take the current applied to them. Also, apparently they compete with speaker makers who use speakers that don't have a surround, the cone just floats in a hole. Edited May 18, 2013 by Mr. Foxen Quote
brensabre79 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 The LAST bit WAS my favourite... "We use 12 HUGE plastic polypropylene capacitors, that cost HUNDREDS OF POUND (for 12 HUGE capacitors) in each pair of GBP £3500 speaker. There are also many other plastic polypropylene capacitors that cost pounds , rather than hundreds of pounds !" Why didn't they use those then? they would have saved HUNDREDS OF POUND Quote
