stobbart Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Gibson 1964 serial 68103 EB2 in non original case. Possible trade for 70's P Bass cash either way. Bought from those nice chaps at The Gallery about 99' - if I recall it came from Dave Swift (Jools Holland and many more) There are scratch marks on the inner label and some point a previous owner personalized the neck heel with their initials and there has been a logo ( I'm thinking union jack ) on the upper horn. I recently took the Gibson to the Bass Doctor for his perusal and valued opinion because of this. He confirmed it's authenticity as a good honest bass. Gorgeous looking with great patina, sounds enormous with killer dub tones. Check out the link and contact me for any more info etc. Thanks. Dr.Gonzo Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Hi there, Is this one stil for sale? I'm in the market for a sunburst Gibson EB-2. I was thinking a 1967, where the bridge has the individual saddles, but this looks very interesting too. Any troubles with intonation with the bar bridge? If it's gone I will make post in the "wanted" section. No trades, and I will fly over to test/try/pay/pickup. Regards, Neil
stobbart Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 Hi Neil, Thanks for the message. The Gibson was sold some time ago, I should have marked the ad. I had no problems with intonation with the bar bridge. Good luck with your search. Regards, Wayne.
Sparky Mark Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Perhaps you could mark the title as sold now to avoid wasting other BCers time. Cheers.
