Baxter Posted May 20, 2013 Share Posted May 20, 2013 Hi Folks, Having got the refinish bug while doing up an old Selmer amp and having a fair bit of tolex left, I thought about having a go with my old WEM Dominator MK1 bass amp. I managed to pick up a spare amp cabinet off ebay so I can work on it without without crippling my amp. I'm missing the rear upper amp cover but can easily fabricate a new one - BUT - I suppose I could then just completely close the back and line the interior with foam. I suppose I may have to consider some porting but thats not a big problem for me. I'm just looking for some opinion on the closed/open back idea. its the 18w 15" speaker version.
