Dingus
Wasn't their album produced by Alternative Rock session bass supremo Justin Meldal Johnson ? He's fond of esoteric retro basses , so maybe he had something to do with the choice of a Ripper . To my tastes , these are monumentally ugly basses , but they do sound good , though . Vey catchy record - makes me think it's the summer 1979 all over again and the Yanks are trying to mould punk into New Wave powerpop so they don't find it so disturbing . timmo
They have some great pop/rock songs have a listen to some others on you tube
The first time I had heard of Paramore was a debate on it about how bad they were cause they sold out when they did the theme tune to twilight. I like them. But it isn`t their best of songs Edited May 21, 2013 by timmo
stingrayPete1977
She was what 12 or 13 when they started? People moan about selling out yet I wonder what they or their children were doing at that age!
JamesBass
I think he used to play a musician stingray a lot live, as well as a jazz, which always gave the tones I liked for this style of music, however this song and the rest of their new album are in my opinion rather weak compared to what their previous albums were like, if you like this then check out their first album called All We Know is falling, Hayley's vocals were much rawer and have a nice character to them, it's not over produced which is how the new stuff sounds to me.
That's the trouble with corporate crap, also maybe the song was too new? We have all been to see our favourite band only to be told by the excited front man that they are going to treat us to their new unreleased album end to end, oh no!
