bjelkeman
Greetings! So I am a former Londoner, from Earl's Court in fact, that have moved (back) to Stockholm, Sweden. I gave in earlier in the year and relapsed. I started playing bass again, which I haven't done for several decades. And boy am I having fun! Managed to wiggle my way into a hardrock band recently too. There is a real dearth of bass players in Stockholm apparently. Otherwise I wouldn't have made it. Anyway, having fun and have acquired way too much new gear in a few months only. Hanging out at Basschat and the Swedish equivalent produces a monumental GAS. Trying not to buy anything more now. Well, except for that bass I wanted...

BassTractor
Hey Bjelkeman, Welcome to pratabass.co.uk! I'm sure you'll thrive here, but remember BC is GAS inducing to the n[sup]th[/sup] degree.
There is a real dearth of bass players in Stockholm apparently.
May be, but on the positive side, the few that are there are the best ever, and BC is proud to be acquainted to one besides your good self. (inside joke. sorry) Anyway, enjoy the site, its banter and its occasional exchange of info. best, bert
bjelkeman
My Aussie accent isn't so good, but my Norwegian is decent.
FinnDave
I always, without exception, get lost driving through Stockholm. All those tunnels and microscopic direction signs! Hope you have more luck than I ever have finding your way around. Edited May 22, 2013 by FinnDave

Ancient Mariner
Welcome to the forum. I really like Stockholm, and have worked there a couple of times (at the Karolinska sjukhuset) and was very happy walking back to my hotel late at night in January. Sometime I must take the wife over.
