Jack
I was looking for some headphones for use with bass practice. My setup is my pedalboard into a Soundcraft mixer and currently into some Sony headphones. I LOVE the Sonys for music but they're lackluster for 'live' bass. This dichotomy has got me thinking about which headphones would be better suited for playing through, as any that sound great for listening to music in a shop might be rubbish when I got them home. I was all set for a pair of Grado SR80i but then I saw the PJBs, designed especially for bass. Has anyone used them? Any good? They're half the price of the Grados. Thanks, Jack
Guest
I'm all set to buy a pair of theses but it seems Thomann is the only stockist at the moment. Please let me know if you find some.
BetaFunk
I use Grado SR80s for both Bass and Hi-Fi but if i was using them for Bass only i'd go for the PJB H-850s as they seem to get good reviews. If you do get them i'd be interested in how you get on with them.
Jellyfish
I'm due to place an order for these from Thomann in the next couple of days. I'll let everyone know how I get on.

molan
I've tried these for music through my iPhone and they sounded pretty good. Didn't get a chance to hear them back to back with my Grados but was definitely impressed.
