Not in a romantic way. I need to raise some cash to buy a keyboard and I've come to the conclusion that my L2000, as much as I love it, has to go.

Before putting it up, I really need to find out when it was made. The G&L site only gives info on basses built up to 1992. Mine's dinfintely a later model but has a three bolt neck. Any G&L aficionados able to help me out?

Cheers

Had a look here ? http://www.bassesbyleo.com/

p.s. generally 2nd hand USA L-2000s go for about 700, maybe a bit less.

The best way is to remove the neck, hopefully there will be a date stamp in there.
