Giant three-string contra bass balalaika for sale. Lightly gigged for past few years with new roundwound strings. It’s a recent import from Ukraine (circa 2007). Tunes as normal bass EAD. Slight chip in bottom beading but well cared for.
Floor-shaking acoustic instrument, measuring 3' across base. Balances on metal spike which retracts into body.
Cumbersome but manageable, with custom-made waterproof gig zipper bag included. Cannot be posted or couriered, buyer must collect South Manchester/Manchester Airport locality.
