nobodysprefect
Ok, time to move this bass. It's a good example of F-Bass quality, I've had 5 and this is at the better end of the spectrum. Ash-maple is a killer combo. Ash body, maple neck, birdseye maple board. F-Bass humbucking pickups, has coil splitting with very believable jb tone - or, rather, has great JB tone, with a usable HB mode for when you want that. The eq gets a special mention for being very gig-friendly. Not fiddly at all. And the passive tone control is a loved feature on jb-clones for a reason! This was made in 2007 and the previous owner played it a lot, so there's play wear, a few dings, and some fret wear. I get a really, really, low buzzfree action. 34,5" scale, 19mm spacing. Excellent balance because of the long upper horn. I think 1600 pounds shipped with the F-Bass hard-ish gig bag is the best price you can find one of these going for on the net right now. Great bass, needs to be out there working.
