Beedster
How cool was that band, and totally held together by the deceptively easy looking/sounding bass playing
louisthebass
Makes you realise what a great rhythm section Booker T & the MG's were. Probably not as "technical" as the Motown sound, but grooved just as hard.

BetaFunk
Fantastic band. Just turned over and there's a bloke singing some old dirge wearing sunglasses and a parka. Back down to earth with a bump then.

sblueplanet
Watched the show and the Otis doc beforehand. Duck Dunn and Steve Cropper on good form and looking way cool in their sharp suits but nothing could beat the power and presence of Otis Redding himself, what a tragedy he died so young.
