bertbass Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) I bought this wonderful machine for my lady as a Christmas present last year. I had to wait a year for it to be made and then delivered. I secretly downloaded the Synth Station App to her ipad. When it finally arrived I set it all up for her, pried the ipad out of her hands and put it in the keyboard. She played a couple of notes and said “Thank you very much darling, but I don’t really like it.” So it’s just sat in the dining room doing nothing for months with me hoping that maybe she’ll take an interest in it sometime. When I told her I was putting a couple of basses on Basschat she asked if I could put her Synth Station on as well, so here it is. Full details here:- http://www.akaipro.com/synthstation49 This is a truly wonderful keyboard and I wish that I played keyboards but alas, I don’t. This is literally brand new and unused and my lady would like £100 for it so that she can buy something that she actually wants. Her words not mine. Edited June 25, 2013 by bertbass
bertbass Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 My lady says I can't see my add anymore type bump.
bertbass Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 Standard jack, left and right outputs and mini jack for headphones.
timmchale2009 Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 One more question do you have to use the specific app or will it control other apps such as Garage Band etc?!
bertbass Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 That's a good question. I never tried and my lady has only got the synthstation app on her ipad. I'll try to find out.
bertbass Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 I've done a google search and apparently it will not work with garageband directly but there is an app called midibridge that allows the synthstation49 to work with garageband and lots of other programs and apps. Info here, http://www.audeonic.com/ and itunes.
Netballman Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) That's a lot of lady bumps... (sorry I couldn't help myself!) Edited July 30, 2013 by Netballman
bertbass Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 Sorry, didn't see the question 'til now. Hastings, about as far south from you as you can get without getting wet. Happy to post though.
