Olympic white Maple Fret board Active electronics amazing tone and playability Includes straplocks and Fender hard case Serial number DZ6 means made in 2006 I believe. I got it new in 2007. wazz Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 I'm afraid I don't know the body wood, just standard for the model. The Olympic white color is excellent IMO and rare with the maple board. That was my special order.
BigBassBob Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I'd say the body's probably alder. On the US Deluxe line Fender tended to use alder for solid colours and ash for transparent (such as aged cherry sunburst, teal green transparent). That said, my US Deluxe P is in amber (transparent) and has an alder body with a bold grain.
