Problem downloading VSTs in Reaper

Hi all. Recently downloaded Reaper and have to admit I'm a bit of a noob in this department so may well be making a very basic error somewhere along the line but I tried downloading some VSTs last night, namely EpicVerb, CV Piano and Mr. Ray. Files are in Downloads, also downloaded WinRar as EpicVerb is a .rar file. Tried to get them into Plugin folder in Programs/Reaper on C drive using WinRar but keep getting the same "Access Denied" message in WinRar. Going to try uninstalling WinRar tonight and trying again. Any advice greatly received!

Try popping them into C:\Program Files\VstPlugins (or C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins if they're 32 bit plugins) (assuming you're on the 64 bit version of Windows - it's one of those places anyhow!)

You may have to just extract them to anywhere using WinRar then copy them over into the right folder.

Hopefully some of this helps...
