onemanband
Hi, I recently bought a St Blues King bass from a BC member, and have to say that after a littleTLC, a set up and re-string with my favourite flatwounds, this bass is truly superb and is fast becoming my "go to" bass. "Handcrafted" they are evidently manufactured in Korea but assembled & quality checked at the St Blues guitar workshop in Memphis USA. Kent Armstrong pickups, Wilkinson Tuners and an "in house" hi mass bridge (through body stringing), the finish is faultless; the Maple neck and frets are finished superbly too; no rough edges and a delight to play!! Many muso's seem to have an inbuilt prejudice against guitars & basses built in the far east, but I have to say, this example is truly superb, and each instrument should be judged individually on it's own merits. I just wanted to know, are any other BC members playing or familiar with these basses?? www.saintblues.com/assets/1559/st_blues_july_2007.pdf Edited June 10, 2013 by onemanband
