obbm Posted June 10, 2013 Share Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) I took this bass in a trade so am uncertain as to the exact specification however as far as I am aware the body, neck, tuners and bridge are all original 1977. Neck pocket is a snug fit.with no overhang. Pick-ups are modern Fender Vintage. Pots are mid 80's and scratch plate is modern. It is currently strung with 55-110 DR Lo-Riders and sounds great. Comes in Fender gig bag. It has a few battle scars but nothing too bad considering the age. £800 Collect or meet-up prefered. Have sorted out my immediate needs i am now open to trade offers. The only provisos are: - No Precisions - No 6-strings, - Must be under 9.5lb in weight - Within sensible collect/deliver/meet-up range of GU10. . The neck and action are super comfortable and the neck pocket is one of the better ones I've seen on a 70s P Bass. Where there is wear on the body, you can see the lovely red of the sunburst coming through. All in all a lovely bass. Have a bump from me Dave.
