I have now owned at least five basses twice, courtesy of BC and my brilliant masterplan (although I believe Happy Jack has owned one of those three times, being the Alleva Antigua 5'er). I think a lot of it is meant with a degree of affection, whether you'd recognise it or not - but if it's causing pain, then we should take note.
