well later on, something I dont need to spend money on, so I am thinking about freeing up some funds! Hence, once again I am just putting on a fairly low price. I *should* really put the amp up for £1000, but I think £800 + delivery is fair.

Lol.. Overkill??? Noooo... t'is the doggies doo-dahs!!

I'm running it into my Epifani UL-610. I also used to run it into 2 Tech Sound Systems 4x10 cabs. Both set ups do a massive amount of clean powerful bass with tons of headroom. ;o)

Get it Chris, get it Chris, voices in your head. Will sound f***ing amazing with the SVP.

Which cabs to make the most?? Of? I don't follow Steve! Headroom or bottom end?
Arg, I'd only budgeted around 5-600 for a poweramp, and 600 for a cab ;p

Infact, this looks like I need to start a thread!
I'm not sure that I could go quite as low as £600 unless I could think of something I wanted as trade bait!
Hi Dan what do you think would be the best cabs to match the amp, for a compact set up?
Steve, - Bit like asking 'what's the best tone' mate! There are so many different cabs out there and it would depend on what a person was looking for, hearing in their head and what bass/outboard was being used.

For example, I have owned Accugroove, Tech, Epifani, Hartke and gawwwwd knows what else... they all sounded amazing, but all for different reasons. If I were choosing compact from the gear I have owned, I would go for the Tech cabs. I loved them! I was a numbnuts for selling them!! but GAS got the better of me! For fave tone, NOTHING has beaten my SVT 2 Pro upon 2 Hartke 4.5XL's. No way compact, but it was a tone that ALWAYS made other rigs sound woolly and weak! lol (also wrecked my back, but thats another story!!!!!)

I really liked my Accugroove and currently the Epifani is just starting to break in more and sound fuller. It's the nearest I have had to the earthquake abilities of the Hartke's but a more prominent upper mid tone.

Oooh! I missed one! I use an Aguilar GS-112 for writing and practice sessions.. What a wonderful little cab! Yes! I havent tried that with the powersoft. I think it would make quite a nice noise ;o) lots of round bottom.. and surprisingly deep for a little cab. I still remember what Homer's MB LM2 and 2x GS-112 rig sounded like at an early bass bash!! Very sweet!!!

Heartless bumpage!

As it is Sunday and I am in a good mood, I am going to say something very silly. Make me an offer I can't refuse! I have seen a couple of things that I am interested in getting and my G.A.S could get you a great deal! The amp weighs very little.. (VERY little in comparison to the quality of it's huge output) so shipping would be not-a-lot. Or you can come over tp pick the beasty up (with one hand) lol.
If I'd had a bit more cash when putting my rig together, I'd have had it in an instant. That much power in something that light is obscene.

Good luck with the sale :)
