dazza14 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I'd guess yes, you can 'kinda' make out the word "Japan" on the h-stock. Quote
Twigman Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 It's not a JV (decal is wrong) but might be a SQ Quote
Oversoul Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 Woa, ain't the SQ basses like, the dinossaurs of all Squier existence? Quote

[/quote] No, the JVs came first. If it is an SQ that's a wickid price and you should buy it immediately if it has no issues. It could also be a MIJ Silver Series which were excellent instruments (the SS text is on the part of the headstock you can't see in the photo, it would be worth about £200 if it is a Silver in very good condition). Musky Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 It's looking very much like a Silver Series to me. Not all of them had the SS logo, but they all had a very tight radius on the headstock by the E string tuner. Quote
LeftyJ Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Appears to have quite a bit of room left in that case. Maybe one of the old 32" scale MIJ Squiers, in that case it's probably a serial number starting with E ('84-'87). Excellent value, really easy to play and a lot of fun too. Quote
SlapbassSteve Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Looks an awful lot like a Silver Series to me. In that condition that's a great price. Quote
