orangepeelneil
Hi Basschatters, Up for sale is my old Vox standard bass. This is a reluctant sale as it is an ace bass, but i haven't played it for over 2 years and it sould be being used regualrly.. With the exception of the bridge, nut and rear cover(which are improvments), the bass is all orginal. This a solid and robust bass with great sustain and tone,I find it sounds a halfway house between a Jazz and Precision, The Bass has dings and scratches consistent with age, but nothing major. http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...ndard+Bass/10/1 Spec:- -Made in Japan 82-85 -24 fret maple neck -heavy dense body (maybe ash or mahogany?) -Volume and tone knobs -New Brass nut and set up by Waghorn guitars in Bristol. -Excellent high output, low noise pickups (maybe Dimarzio?) -Pickup phase reversal switch (how this is wired -could be wired series/parallel) -Non original badA*** style bridge. If you reading this, you probably know this is a great MIJ bass. Collection from central Bristol BS3 Please don't let me put this on FleaBay!!! Price ~ £130 Cheers Neil Edited January 11, 2011 by orangepeelneil
