Bilbo Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 My partner in time, drummer Russ Morgan, and I have just recorded an interview about our JazzEast at The Fludyers project and there is a 16 minute interview on Felixstowe tv (you can access it on youtube, just post 'Jazz East at The Fludyers' in the search box). BetaFunk Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) Really interesting that was. Good luck with the project and i hope that it's the great success it deserves to be. Edited June 13, 2013 by BetaFunk Quote
Dingus Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Great to hear that you have got John Etheridge booked . Saw him playing with Stephane Grappelli many years ago , and subsequently have seen him do a solo gig . Amazing guitarist up there with the very best and a lovely bloke . Wish you the best of luck with the whole enterprise . Quote
fumps Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 A bit disappointed I always pictured Bilbo To have a big white beard & travelled around on clouds Quote

xilddx Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Great stuff, Rob! Very best of luck with it, sounds like you have it nailed already! Quote
KevB Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Rob goes beardless! Mind you with the latest allegations regarding Rolf it's probably just as well... Hope it all goes swimmingly and that a collection of irate jazz singers don't come down to scat-heckle you. Quote
Bilbo Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 That just came out I suspect I am going to live to regret it! Quote
Spoombung Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Sounds like a good project. I was in Felixstowe a couple of weeks ago killing a few hours on the seafront while my family went to the Suffolk Show. It's changed a bit - there are gastro-pubs and cafes selling salads and stuff. Quote
Bilbo Posted June 13, 2013 Author Posted June 13, 2013 The Alex and The Fludyers are both owned by the same bloke who is underwriting our Jazz project. Quote
