Brand new, never been out of the packet!

I'm after a lighter gauge 4 string set for my medium scale P-bass.

Hit me up with any offers!

have you tried them though before? they are heavier in terms of diameter but the tension is much lower than steel or nickel wounds :)

Hey!

I haven't tried them no..
I took the bass (strung with roundwounds) to a tech with the nylon strings I'm packet and asked to get them on and 'set-up'.

He said he didn't wanna put them on the medium scale p-bass just coz the gauge is a bit thick and they're 'long scale' strings. So it wasn't gonna find on the tuner too well either and could snap!

So no, they're still in the packets coiled up = )

Except for the A string, the gauge is the same for medium scale as it is for long scale:

Tru bass long scale - 65-75-100-115
Tru bass medium scale - 65-75-90-115

Yeah they're tru bass 88's

Yep, we were worried the string might snap because it would have been the thick 'string' part that would have been in the tuner.

So we just decided to leave it and I'll get the right ones for my bass!
