Cabinet internal wiring

So, we all know that OBBM builds great quality 4mm conductor speaker hook up cables.

However, if you cabinet is wired internally with 2.5mm cable, is there any point to the capacity of the external cable? Well asdie the quality and reliability, we have to consider resistivity of the cable.....

The answer, of course, is to have the same cable capacity throughout as this will be defined by the power of your amp. 4mm conductor probably covers 99% of amps and hook ups....I am cool with this!

So, internally, within the cab; what cable have people used to hook up the speakers to the jack/speakon, what size conductor? My cabs use the basic Peavey 2.5mm cable. As I use a 700W amp at 8ohm, this suggests ~11Amp.

I think I need to change my internal hook ups! Anyone got any better views?
