Stance
Hi I´ve just received a 60´s cherry red Hagstrom Concord. Beautiful bass - I´ve always wanted to have a semi-hollow bass! The bass is full of mojo with paint peeling along the neck and the normal dings from 40 years of live playing (but totally original) Now the question is - I need money and can´t afford to have more basses so, should I sell it (and if I do, please help me as I don´t know the value of these basses on the used market) or should I keep it and sell my 88 Stingray (the one that appears on my Avatar..)? I know it may sound as stupid question, but I´ve worked very hard to get my 88 Stingray and have a lot of history with it, but nowadays it just doesn´t get played at all - I´m using an 83 - and the Concord would give me a new range of old-school sounds ... What would you do? Thanks in advance!
Jellyfish
No point holding onto something you don't play. Unless it really has a lot of sentimental value.

bertbass
If you've got to think about it, it's not the right thing to do. Sell the 88 Stingray.
Lozz196
If you need money and selling a bass is the only way to raise some, sell the one you don`t play as much.
Stance
Thanks for all the opinions! Any idea of the Hagstrom value? I´ll post pics soon. Thanks
JTUK
If you REALLY HAVE to sell then I'd sell the '88 that you don't use and keep the '83 and the Hagstrom which have more use and probably more value.
