Dom in Dorset
After the demise of my fretless Zzaj bas (due to woodworm) I have ended up with a surplus set of jazz bass pickups (Wizard 84s) and a need to put them to good use. Any ideas? Fretless or fretted, something different, or classic. At the moment I'm thinking either something Steinbergerish or a classic jazz with a maple board build from spare parts. EDIT- or maybe something like this: Edited June 15, 2013 by Dom in Somerset

rubis
I've got a hankering to attempt something in the style of a Rob Allen semi-hollow with a piezo bridge, you could do a hybrid a bit like that semi hollow P bass

I've thought about a semi jazz or p-bass - like the pic at the top of the page!!
