replacing fretboard dots

Hiya,

Has anyone done this on a mighty mite neck?

It's an all in one maple (no fretboard) with black dots at the moment.

Does anyone know if the markers are just inked? Or are they inlaid?

I'm pretty sure they're inlaid not inked.
