jonunders Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Hi, I you were limited to one effect pedal, which one is most useful to you? Quote
Guest FretNoMore Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 The most useful, because it's always on, would have to be my Empress Compressor. But hey, this type of question doesn't make any sense to me, how much fun is a pedal board with only one pedal? If I really could only have one pedal I might try the Zoom MS-60B (http://www.zoom.co.jp/products/ms-60b). Quote
tonyquipment Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013
A tuner
Yeah I would have both TU3 and LMB3 together There's no one pedal ... Unless multi pedal Quote
Guest FretNoMore Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 A tuner would be my choice for only *pedal* ... but it's not an *effect pedal*, is it? Quote
xgsjx Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 It depends really on what sort of music you play & what sort of sound you're after. It's a bit like asking "what sort of car should I get". My most useful pedal is the Moog Low Pass Filter. It's the only pedal that I rarely turn off & does so much for "just" a filter pedal. Quote
GazWills Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 it's like asking "if you could only have ONE string on your bass, which one would you pick?" - but saying that, it'd be an xotic bass BB preamp (and an E string!)... Quote
LiamPodmore Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 It would have to be the BDI-21 for me, it's the main component to getting my tone at the moment. Liam Quote
Dad3353 Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013
Hi, I you were limited to one effect pedal, which one is most useful to you?
What is this 'effect pedal' of which you speak..? Quote
dave_bass5 Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 BDDI for me. Ive got a Zoom B3 thats got loads of effects in it, but the BDDI is the only thing i use now. Always on and sitting on my amp so i can tweak it without bending down. Quote
pendingrequests Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Boss GEB-7 Equalizer. No matter what amps I may have to share at gigs, I can always go to this and adjust to get my tone. 8 years going strong Quote
Lozz196 Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Zoom B3. But if we`re talking only one actual effect, probably some form of drive pedal. The Bass BB on the B3 is what I use, which is based on the Xotic Bass BB Preamp, so that would be my choice. Quote
paul_5 Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 DHA VT1 EQ DI (since we're just using abbreviations). Quote
Sibob Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 OC-2 Or a Rat Tail Or my custom Cog Effects Or an OC-2 *implode* Quote
