lee650 Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Hi dave I hope you or any other knowledgeable bods can help me, ive just bought a groove tubes 12ax7 to replace the one in my EBS td 650, i took the top of and the old valve seems t be in a plastic holder on a circuit board and i cant get the valve out at all, and i dont want to get too rough, i had an swr amp years ago and i replaced the valve in that, it just slipped out, but this ones a bit sturdier. If you know of a special knack with these things, id really appreciate some advice, mind you itll prob be safer to find a local tech. many thanks- lee Quote

ped Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Glad it worked. I remember asking the same question when I put a new one in my Hartke 3500. I had to do a lot of wriggling to retube the Trace V4 recently too, all 7 of them! Cheers ped Quote
