0353203 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Hi All, Up for sale is my 1971 Blonde P Bass once owned and played on stage by Willie Weeks. The bass comes with a letter of authentication from George Gruhn, from whom I bought it. Overall the bass is in great condition....it has had a number of modifications.....some I assume to cope with playing live in large halls: - pots replaced - extra shielding under pickguard and in control cavity - a couple of extra ground wires - neck pocket re-routed - new nut It has dings, dongs, a few chips around the neck plate but sounds 'huge' as you might expect.
