It's become something of a holy grail for me in the past few years. Anyone got one / played one / used to have one per chance?

They come up pretty regularly in the states...

Don't have one now. Like all of the rest of us banana heads, back in the '80s I had a Black Eagle, a Silver Series, a couple of Roadstars. Very nice basses, really sounded and played great. The Black Eagle was sort of like a slightly upgraded Silver series, with Burns Bison-esque looks.

Traded them all at one time or another in NYC at We Buy Guitars for other, less interesting basses over the years. Now, sadly, I wish I had most of them back.

Remember there's the Antoria badged verson as well - identical guitar. And the even rarer White Eagle.

Good luck finding one.

Cheers

I remember that Antoria version ! Maybe that's why you don't see them in the UK - because they were marketed here under the Antoria brand name , perhaps ?
