craigonbass
Hi there, I've broken the volume pot on my Stagg EUB. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a replacement?
icastle
I'm not familiar with the internals of the Stagg EDB, but the only picture I can see of the electronics looks like one of the square blue bodied pots (made by Bourns). Those are pretty readily available online, but I don't know what value they use - it'll be written on the casing of the pot somewhere. stingrayPete1977
Some people had faulty preamps on early ones and got sent new preamps by thomann so there must be loads of spare volume pots on boards people have kept, if only there was a way of contacting someone with one! Fwiw you can't have mine
apa
Those things have a 2 year warranty. If you bought it new within then I'd have a word with the guys you bought it off. A
craigonbass
Many thanks for all your replies. The bass is with a friend who is trying to repair it for me at the moment, so I cant post a photo. I'll ask him to take one and send it to me. I broke the pot off putting it into the back of my car, the soft case doesn't give it much protection. It was purchased second hand through Basschat so won't be under warranty. Craig
