I saw it on Talkbass marked as ‘sold’ - I contacted the buyer and persuaded him to part with it!! 
 

I’m not sure what the body wood is. It looks quite dark so assumed it’s mahogany. 
 

The tape on the pickup is because I sometimes touch the poles with my thumb

i tried the jedi trick and can confirm... it does not work, they just said "why you waving your fingers at me" that yoda is just full of it. 🙂

that leaves "build them up" maybe offering to buy the strap on it first.. as below ?

if not that, then good old cash offer is always good when you want to cut to the chase and not have the embarrassment of waving your fingers at him with your eyes closed !  🙂

I think so - here's a picture of the wood beneath.

 

Nothing as fancy as that; I just sent him messages in the middle of the night and a few billboards around his hometown and work and family homes. Eventually he just said 'take it' and 'never contact me again' which was lovely

and it is ,  i cant really tell ped, could be either dirty ash or light hog, hard to tell, all the little brown flecks in it though, hog does have them, im sure i seen somewhere a method where you could see the wood grain under the paint with a mirror withe the light off and a torch, just try ed to find it, if i see it al post it ...
