Are the aftermarket ones a lot of old rubbish? Best stick to the real ones? Any suggestions where to buy? Ideally looking for a tortoiseshell for USA Jazz - black, currently with white pickguard....needs to go! Quote
Chiliwailer Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 After market ones can work, though it's a gamble sometimes as you need to be absolutely sure that it does fit and that's not always easy through online shopping. I have mostly always had them made for me. Bass Doc here on Bass Chat did my last one. His nitro tort plates are fantastic and excellent value (cheaper than Fender too). Quote
