Fender, advice needed please.

The machine heads are Gotoh replacements I'd say. Also it has dot markers and I believe 70s models - as this purports to be - would have pearl blocks and binding. The addition of EMGs and stack pots ads to the conundrum. I wouldn't....

Ask him if it weighs a quarter of a ton. If it does, it might be a genuine 78... :D

Seriously, though, it doesn't look right to me - my 78 was, as Ash says, block and bound. I'd like to see the neck plate, too - should be a micro-tilt. No bullet truss rod adjuster, either...nope, the more I looky, the less I likey...
