sbrag Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Saw the Wildhearts at the bristol o2 last night. Absolutly cracking gig. One of my favorite bands as youth and they put in a great set. Earth vs all the way through then very entertaing audience choose the songs 2nd half. Support bands of Baby Godzilla and especially Eureka Machines were brilliant too. Top night out! Quote
Ian Savage Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Awesome band; my lot have played with Ginger and the Eureka Machines, proper 'dream-realised' type stuff 'cos I grew up with the Wildhearts (almost literally, went to the same school as Ritch!) Quote
the_skezz Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Saw them in Brum earlier this year and off up Newcastle with my mate on Saturday to see them. Great stuff in Brum, as you say support acts are great - can't say I'm big on Eureka Machines' music but they put on a good live show. And no-one can compete with the madness of Baby Godzilla live. Chris2112 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Endless Nameless is undoubtedly one of the best rock records ever made, what a masterpiece. Quote
Neil1982 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Hey, just joined this Forum today and this is the first post I seen! The wildhearts are my top band off all time, been a huge fan since about 1997. Travelled down from Newcastle to the Earth Vs Nottingham Rock City gig in April and it was without a doubt the best ive ever seen them!! Looking forward to the Newcastle gig this Saturday!! Quote
sbrag Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 (edited) Welcome to the forum. If its as good as bristol you'll have great night. Everlone and suckerpunch were the highlights for me. Edited June 25, 2013 by sbrag Quote
Chris2112 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 For a Newcastle band, they never seem to play live in Newcastle that often! Quote
